More about our band and how your support makes an impact...
In addition to representing Signal Mountain at regional and national competitions, our band performs at all Eagles home and away football games and the Homecoming parade. Our band gives back to the community by performing at events such as the Chattanooga Armed Forces Day Parade, Chattanooga Market Jazz Band showcase, Night to Shine Special Needs Prom, Alexian Village Retirement Center, community concerts, and numerous school sporting events. Our annual “Christmas from the Mountain” program in December is attended by over 1,000 people.
To run a program of this size and caliber requires funding that far exceeds what is provided by Hamilton County Schools. As such, we rely heavily on fundraising and corporate sponsorships. Marching Band involves hundreds of hours of practice in the heat of summer, more than most athletic teams. Our students learn discipline, commitment, and teamwork while working toward a goal of excellence. These hard-working students students deserve our support as they represent our schools, our businesses, and our community, all year long.
